The thermostat allowed easy adjustments for personal comfort. The bed was incredibly soft, making it a pleasure to unwind after a long day. Having Dove products in the bathroom was a nice touch that added a bit of luxury to my stay.

The city view was obstructed from my room.

Just a fine choice for a quick trip in Alpena with good value for money. The bed was comfy after a long drive. Make sure to check for hot tub availability if you need to relax.

The free hot breakfast was excellent, two types of eggs and fresh cinnamon rolls were a real treat. Plus, the patio right next to the breakfast room was perfect for enjoying views of the river while we ate.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel with 20 family members. The area is perfect for outdoor fun, especially the 300 acres of open water. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing together. There are plenty of nearby shops and restaurants to explore.

My children wanted a better pool area for that extra splash fun.

Great amenities but tight space

We spent 2 nights in a standard king room. The coffee maker was a nice touch, and the Dove soaps were a treat. However, the suite we got was super cramped, barely space for us to move. Breakfast options were solid, though the pool felt a bit small and smelled of chlorine. Should've just stuck with the standard room!
